I have to give a quick shout out to Jamz for this one. She sent me over a link to this mixtape, and you know me, I listen to what people recommend; I don’t discriminate. Not a lot impresses me when it comes to really up-and-coming artists, but this one definitely got my attention. I don’t know much about the artist, but what I know about this mixtape is that the sound is great and he has a dope flow to support it. The thing that I appreciate about local artists from their respective cities is that they have (more or less) a story to tell that people can relate to. He has good wordplay that was diverse and production was smooth (look for the Wayne Wonder sample on ‘She Love Me’). I enjoyed it, so definitely check it out
