I felt the need to go R&B today, and it was only fitting that I give some love to the simp master of them all, Usher. This album came out when I was 12 years old. Twelve, man…listen, times have changed. Usher certainly has in a decade, having discovered Justin Bieber and is making techno pop music while still struggling to perform live (I thought the dancing & singing act was done, but I guess not). This is a great album. I wouldn’t go as far as classic, because I felt that Confessions was way better, no question about that, but this is still an album to have, if not had already. U Got It Bad was the JAM when this came out, you can’t tell me anything different (the microphone shit in the video was so sick). But, enough chit-chat, enjoy the album, people.
