As many of you may, or may not know, when I’m not blogging, or working, or reading, or watching movies, or going to parties, etc., I happen to enjoy editing. I’ve been doing video editing since I was introduced to it when I was 16 years old (thank you Mr. Haughton), and it basically inspired me to want to become an editor as a career path. I’ve done quite a bit of videos (edited & directed), and this latest piece is one that I had the pleasure of editing.

Directed by a friend of mine, Rodney Woo (@WeShine_RW), he’s an aspiring director and business entrepreneur, with his own production company entitled ‘WeShine Productions.’

The song played throughout the video is from another one of my favourite artists right now, Jhene Aiko, from her mixtape ‘Sailing Souls‘ (which you should listen to, because it’s greatness for the ears, and she’s beauty to the eyes). The name of the song is called ‘You vs Them.’ I had a rough time deciding and whether to choose this song or ‘My Mine,’ but because of the supporting visuals, you vs them was the clear choice.

The lead actress goes by the name of Nordia Thomas, and she played the role of  a woman who was going through struggles in a relationship contemplating on what to do with her significant other; Stay or move on (sort of relates to the song). So, enjoy this one, and give Rod some feedback because he did do a good job on this, and share it out. Enjoy
