Toni Braxton may be broke now, but at one point she was one of the biggest names in R&B right there with Mary J. Blige. It sucks as to what’s happening with the older R&B acts, because when they were in their primes, like Toni, they shone like Gold. Toni Braxton had that voice that always sounded like she had breathing issues, but I got used to it, since my mom played her music over and over again (not complaining). Babyface was one of the great producers in the 90s and he certainly didn’t disappoint on this one. ‘Un-Break My Heart’ & ‘You’re Making Me High’ are classic songs, no one can deny that, and despite her issues now, she’ll always be remembered for delivering good music, so enjoy it.
