Okay, so this is a little bit of a step outside of the norm, but it had to be done. The movie is iconic in Black culture (because Hollywood doesn’t care), and the music on this double soundtrack was provided by some of the greatest to do it: James Brown, Issac Hayes, Al Green, Aretha Franklin, and so on. It’s the only album that I’ve ever heard of to have 2 volumes to one movie. It’s that great. A lot of people are fans of the old school soul vibe, so it’s only right that this is posted. The Big Payback is one of my favourite songs of all time, and when you throw in the greatness that was Curtis Mayfield? Mannnn, listen. If you’re not a fan of the old school, this soundtrack will change your views. I stand by my statements, so enjoy this.
