I have an appreciation of art. I have 2 Jackson Pollock pieces, a couple of Van Goghs, a Modigliani, and other random things around the place, mostly provided by my mother. I wouldn’t consider myself a collector (yet), but I can’t help but have a heavy appreciation for it. This particular piece is an all-time classic. It’s entitled ‘The Scream,’ or as I’d like to put it “The expression I always have on my face whenever the Toronto Raptors play a game.”

Yes, my team is the reason why I’ve chosen this particular piece, because of the sheer horror in the face of the person captured in this pose. What the person is screaming at? We don’t know, but it’s definitely something that’s horrifying enough that they would have bulging eyes, a wide open mouth, and both hands clasped against their face. Maybe they just watched the ending of the Raptors/Knicks game. I know it was made it late 1800s/early 1900s, but you never know, or maybe that’s my anger just seeping through my brain, through my keyboard, and onto this canvas filled with words. Whatever. I’m mad. I’m distraught. I know it’s just a game, but HO-LY!
I digress, I’m getting away from the point of this. THIS, is a great piece, and I would advise anyone to look into art. There’s so many different types to look into, and who knows, maybe you can create your own. But, for now, appreciate what I’ve shared, and hopefully I’ve enlightened some to explore other areas of art.
