Timeless, that’s pretty much how I can sum it up. TLC (RIP to the L) was just one of the female R&B groups I grew up listening to (Total/Vogue/702 to name a new, were the others), and they made some great music while they were around. The chemistry that they had, and the different dynamics that each member brought, made them one of, if not, THEE BEST female group of all time. A lot of groups after them pretty much had to attempt to try to reach the dominant status that TLC attained (Destiny’s Child came the closest), but the truth is, there won’t ever be another group like TLC, and ever since Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes died, T-Boz & Chili haven’t been the same, and neither have a lot of people. It’s crazy how so much can change from one person’s death, as we’ve all known, but this is a time to reminisce and re-familiarize ourselves with this great album, so please, Enjoy.
