Soul Sista right here. Jill Scott got a lot of play in my household because my mom is a huge fan of hers, so it’s only natural that I caught on to her. This is a phenomenal album. Jill Scott is who Jennifer Hudson should aspire to be one day, as far as singing is concerned, because Jill Scott can flat-out SANG! ‘A Long Walk’ is still one of my favourite songs, because of her soulful vibe that she gave off on it. It’s simply comforting music to listen to, and I’m glad that I got to experience her music in my life. Everyone should, because she’s one of those singers who got appreciated, but at the same time, I felt like she didn’t get as much as she should have. It starts here, so take it in, and enjoy.
