I thought this album wasn’t going to be out until next week, but here we are. It dropped on Tuesday, and it just made me even more happy for #MarchMusicMadness, because of the amount of quality music that has been coming out, especially this month (K.R.I.T, Odd Future & Melanie Fiona to name a few). This is Esperanza’s 4th studio album, and she switched it up from her usual contemporary jazz and added some new elements, like other instruments, and a more electric feel built-in with her usual jazz self. I love her, and I’m really digging the vibe of this album. She hasn’t let me down yet. I wrote an Artist Profile of her too, so check that for the other albums, if you’d like to get more into her.
