A lot of people know this song, but may not know the history behind it. The Rolling Stones sued The Verve over this song because somehow, someway, they discovered a piece of the song that was sampled from one of their own (I don’t know which song, so I can’t help you out there). The Verve was given the option to have 100% of their earnings go right to the Stones, or they pull their album off the shelves entirely. It sucks, but this song is a classic in Rock & Roll, and I don’t even listen to the genre too tough, but I’ve loved this song for as long as I can remember. I don’t know much about the group itself aside from the fact that they’re from the UK, but they do have a legacy. This video is simple and effective: I’m in my zone, no one’s going to stop me.
