I had to bring it back to the old school. Back when my Grandparents & Parents were enjoying music in a great era, and Marvin Gaye was one of the great voices of their time, and arguably of all time. I’ve seen a lot of debates. I’ve seen a lot of stupid debates, but Marvin Gaye’s greatness is never debatable. It’s like saying Luther Vandross & Diana Ross were garbage. Certain things you just don’t and can’t say. Marvin was a legend, and it was hard to choose just ONE particular album, because he has many great songs from a variety of albums. For the people who may know (or not know because this album released before I was even a thought process), this was his last album before he got shot by his father and eventually died. It’s significant because even after his death decades later, his music still lives on, and it will never die. Ever. I felt that it was right to post this album for some people to really embrace that greatness that was Marvin Gaye and further listen to his legacy. Enjoy.
