“WE’RE NOTORIOUS! AIN’T NOBODY CAN BANG WITH US!” Goodness gracious, I loved Canadian Hip Hop at one point in time, because it was SO GOOD! Toronto was the spot, and honestly, there was no reason to really listen to anything else during a brief point in time, Kardinal was pretty much moving along with the path that Maestro Fresh Wes had laid down, and although Canadian Hip Hop hasn’t exactly diminished, it hasn’t been the greatest of recent, but it’s on a steady resurgence, and I’ll always have faith for my city; it’s just tough love, because not a lot of people impress me. THIS WAS THE ANTHEM!!! This is just a dose of what hip hop once sounded like on our side of the world. Enjoy.
