I don’t know why I didn’t post this mixtape when I heard it initially, but it’s one that crossed my mind because on Twitter, I was just reading and something that stood out was when I read: all female rappers are trash. To a certain degree, there’s truth to that when you look at the main representatives: Nicki Minaj, Lola Monroe, Iggy Azalea, Azelia Banks, etc. I feel that there’s one female rapper that is good, and she goes by the name of Rapsody. This mixtape highlights the female rappers that may have gone unnoticed to the public eye…or ear for that matter. This brings to life a wave of refreshment and hope for the future of female rappers, because lord knows it’s been a while since it was relevant. Enjoy.
