J. Cole has this thing of releasing new music at random times, but personally, I don’t really mind. Although (and I keep reiterating this) I wasn’t a fan of his last album, the Truly Yours EP was smooth, and with this new track sampling Lauryn Hill’s ‘Nothing Even Matters’, Cole shows more flashes of Mixtape Cole that brought me to be a fan of his in the first place. As he says on the track, “This is not a preview.” Born Sinner releases June 25th. Enjoy.
