Honestly, God bless Rihanna.

Because, I certainly wouldn’t have found my way around listening to H.E.R’s album had it not been for the majestic instagram video that Robyn posted with Focus provided as the soundtrack. R&B is a genre that many have put on the same scale as the lost city of Atlantis, and for good measure, that’s pretty much true in the past 10 years, but there are still gems that like to come about from time to time and this was one of them. I promise that I listened to this album 3 times in uninterrupted succession and I was lost in space and time. You know when you feel music breathe, like there’s a whole life attached to this sonic being? That’s what it felt like, and it took me a while to get around to posting it, but here we are. Music has no expiry date, and if people didn’t know whole heartedly about H.E.R, well Ms. Fenty can certainly be a reason as to why people know now. Enjoy.
