BJ The Chicago Kid is an R&B artist that has been on my radar for a few years now, back when I first heard him on Diz Gibran’s Soon You’ll Understand album. His voice and style is so throwback, it’s like an early 90s feel. This guy is going to be great one day, it’s just a matter of time. He’s collaborated with Kendrick Lamar a few times (most recently on Kush & Corinthians off of Section.80), and every time they come together, it brings out a incredible song (that was the only adjective I could think of, but it’s the dead truth). This time, they take a step further from Kush & Corinthians, yet keeping the same theme by focusing on “His Pain,” thus the name of the song. Look out for Pineapple Now-Laters from BJ, and also Kendrick Lamar’s new album pending a release date (AND HE BETTER HURRY UP TOO). Enjoy. *whispers* Click Below *points down*
