Snoop Doggy DOGGGGGGGGGGGG!
Classic 90s Hip Hop yet again. Snoop Dogg’s debut album, and a classic to have. Snoop Dogg came into the game with the G-Funk vibe and he not only personified the chillin’ vibe, but also showed off his gangsterisms (I’m aware that’s not a word). Snoop was one of my favourite rappers at one point because of the different style that he brought upon, and he was literally bouncing everywhere, from label to label (Death Row & No Limit for example), which built his repertoire and his reputation for being a versatile rapper. And through all of the commercial success he’s had, there’s no debating that, regardless of what he’s doing now, whether it be songs with Katy Perry or rapping over soca music (smh), everything started with this album. So, Enjoy.
