Well, it’s finally here. The mixtape that I’ve been anticipating, and what many others have been as well. UMSC (based out of Hamilton, Ontario) has steadily worked up a buzz and simply with their YouTube videos and a few shows. They’re still working on continuing to get their music out, but now with their first mixtape out, it makes it easier for people to listen to them and get a feel for what they’re doing. They bring a diverse mood to the tape because it has a very early 90s feel to their music that’s reminiscent to some of the groups that were popular like Digable Planets & De La Soul. The skits, the chemistry between the members, and they all have different flows. The clash the old school with the new and it’s an overall good listen. Do enjoy.
