The Vibonics MC isn’t just down for his team, he also pursues a solo career on top of that. This EP is an example of what he’s able to accomplish if he continues the solo route. Embracing a Toronto sound in his productions, Different Light puts into perspective the mindset of an aspiring artist from the city.

Having released 2 singles (What U Wanna Do & Different Light), I was looking forward to what else he could put out. The project doesn’t disappoint, as it has sort of retro sound to it, but it’s conscious & heartfelt – all a culmination of being real, which is what’s respected, and that’s always been Crossword’s M-O. With the features of some other underground artists (including well-known spoken word artist, David Delisca), this is definitely an original piece of work you can rock with.
