The most anticipated soundtrack of the year was hyped up more so because of the name attached to the project: Jay -Z. In already one of the year’s anticipated movies (which releases a week from today -May 10), through the snippets, you heard a bunch of pieces of work that vary in style all around. It’ll be interesting to see just how many rappers now will jump on Soundtracks again, since you basically only have the likes of RZA making noise in that department. I’m still saying that Andre 3000 & Beyonce can keep their version of Back to Black all the way to the left, but for everything else on the album (with the exception of Lana Del Ray), it’s quite enjoyable. Might do a full slated review later. Enjoy for now.
