In their inaugural debut, I was honored to have been asked by Blu Rose Creative to contribute with an article about what I believed were (some of) 2013’s most anticipated Hip Hop albums. Now, I’ve only been writing on music for just over a year, but the fact that I have been able to get the notice of few people to help contribute to a start-up magazine in part of their already growing brand, it’s truly humbling, and for someone who has many words, there are very few to describe how I feel right now.
This is the beginning of something great, not only with the development of the new magazine, but also for me as a writer. The magazine itself covers many topics besides just music; there are profiles of local talent, and also some issues that younger people can relate to. It has a great presentation, and as a brand, I think they’ll come to flourish rather soon. I can’t wait to see how they do – I’m just glad to be a part of the first one. Check out the magazine on Blu Rose Creative’s site and enjoy.
