To really understand and appreciate good music, it’s necessary to look beyond your backyard and sometimes look to the residents across the pond. I’ve shown some love to some fellow Europeans, and it doesn’t stop there. I was given this last week, but didn’t get around to it until today, and it really is true that good things come to those who wait (or in my case, put things off).
Kindred hails from London, and the style of this EP reminded me of some old House music that I grew up listening to, especially when you have the multiple effects and instruments all over the place to create a seemingly ‘visual’ enhancement of the music. I can’t even deny, I got to the third song and I knew I had to post it, so I definitely recommend that you listen to it. The craziest part of it is that he’s 18 years old. These kids, I’m telling you. It’s a beautiful thing to see young talent emerge at such young ages (it seems like it’s happening more than usual). As for the EP, it’s short & sweet, but I definitely wish this was longer. Enjoy.
