Although the (very different) NBA All Star Weekend has passed, it’s never too late to drop a theme song dedicated to the Toronto Raptors’ lone all star, DeMar DeRozan. It’s been a long time coming since we last had an all-star, and although we should have had two of them in, one will suffice. Now, you hear rappers all over the place have songs like Michael Jordan and Lebron James, or mixtape series’ like DuFlocka Rant, why not someone from home drop a song dedicated to one of our own? I didn’t think it was going to happen, since I don’t think any of the rappers  (besides Drake & Kardinal Offishal) love the Raptors like that, but when I got the notification from Crossword, I’m glad that I was wrong. I can’t lie, the hook is really catchy and it has some bounce to it. If it catches on to more people, that would definitely be something. Enjoy.
