I don’t know how Top Dawg is able to stack up on their talent with their new artists, but I appreciate it to the very fabric of my soul. Lance Skiiwalker is the newest kid on the block, but he’s already made his impact from his debut on Jay Rock’s 90059 and sprinkled in on ScHoolboy Q’s Blank Face LP. His solo tracks (this being the third) have all been vividly different sounds, but equally dope (Speed grew on me a bit, because how it opens up is distracting at times). Feel free to have your soul levitate off Earth by putting this on repeat. Can’t wait for a project to drop. Enjoy.
