Throwback Album of the Day – Liquid Swords – GZA

I’ve posted Method Man, Raekwon, and even the group as a whole, so why not throw in GZA? Liquid Swords is one of the great albums from the 90s (one that I proudly have), and GZA was the ingenious, brainiac member of the group (hence the nickname ‘Genius’). The reason why this album is great is because when you have one of the great producers (RZA) at essentially arm’s length, and combine that with your already complex schemes and extensive artistry, what can go wrong? Not a lot. B.I.B.L.E (Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth), is one of the quintessential anthems that people still quote from this day, so that goes beyond saying as to why this album should be considered great. Wu Tang Forever. Enjoy.
