I’ve been anticipating this mixtape more than the group’s album with Shady forming Shady 2.0 (with Yelawolf in the mix as well). For people who are not familiar with Slaughterhouse, it is a rap group formed by: Joe Budden, Royce Da 5’9, Crooked I, and Joell Ortiz.

There’s a whole history of each rapper that all brought them together, but basically they’re the East/Midwest supergroup that’s been making a name for themselves, and finally their album is coming out soon (possibly at the end of this month). But until then, we’ve only heard a taste of them through freestyles and other appearances (i.e Bad Meets Evil: Hell the Sequel – ‘Loud Noises’)

Well here’s the mixtape, and after hearing ‘Weight Scale’ & ‘Truth or Truth’ you know that this mixtape is going to be something serious. Enjoy it, and again, if you want to do your homework behind each artist, do that. Joe Budden is known for his Mood Muzik series, so definitely give those a listen (I like MM2 & 3). Royce Da 5’9 has his Bar Exam series, and as for the other 2? I haven’t listened to their individual stuff (I may not get around to that, to be honest). Enjoy the mixtape
