I don’t think you guys have an idea as to just how long I’ve been waiting for this album to drop. Tona’s one of the better rappers representing my city (Scarborough to be exact), and when you have a prominent producer like Rich Kidd backing you up and supplying an album’s worth of beats, how could you underestimate just what he’s capable of? A bunch of cuts from the album have been floating over the internet for a while this was being made (via Tona’s Soundcloud), but as a whole, I’m not even disappointed for what he put out with this. I can only hope that people pay more attention to Tona and stop sleeping on the guy. Be sure to take a listen (shit, even buy it if you like it), and enjoy.
