This album wasn’t supposed to come out until July 9th, but since Freddie Gibbs streamed the album early, and it leaked today (June 20), he literally just said “fuck it” and released the album on iTunes (I’m wondering if there will be physical copies sold, because I want one). Having already released 187 & Freddie Soprano (R.I.P James Gandolfini aka Tony Soprano), the street theme was going to be ever apparent on this latest album (like it’s anything different from the music he’s put out in the first place). He’s releasing 3 projects in total this year (Cocaine Pinata & Str8 Killa 2), which is more than enough music to kick back and enjoy, so do – enjoy.
