Finally! When I first heard this song at Dijah SB’s EP release party for Manic Luxury, where Leila was performing, I felt chills down my body and I demanded its release immediately. It only took a few months, but regardless of how long it took, it’s here now and it is to be enjoyed by everyone. Yes, that even includes you. She has a bunch of music on her Soundcloud, and I’m really looking forward to seeing what else she drops this year if it’s as good or even better than what is presented here. Shoutout to Ann Peebles one time. If not for her song, and then Missy flipping it to the iconic song a lot of Hip Hop fans my age grew up listening to, we surely wouldn’t have this song today, and for that point alone, I am appreciative.
