On December 4th, 2013, one of the best rappers out that you probably never heard of, dropped a project that served as a token of appreciation towards on of Hip Hop’s most beloved artists (Jay Z), and that was Skyzoo. When it was announced that he was going to collaborate with Antman Wonder, I had no idea who he was, so I looked him up and I discovered his Soundcloud page. Within a couple of beats I heard, I already was amazed and was anticipating something great between the two – I wasn’t disappointed. The project is insane, and the recreated beats by Antman showed off his talent as a producer by paying attention to detail to the originals while adding his own flare. He was supposed to release the instrumentals earlier, but pushed it back for reasons that are: 1. unknown 2. don’t matter because it’s here now. If you haven’t heard AOTRD already, I strongly suggest that you do, and if Antman Wonder is a name you haven’t heard of, and you want to hear something refreshing for a change, give his stuff (including this album) a listen.
