The West Coast is strong in a lot of phases. Whether it’s in football (I couldn’t resist – sue me) or in music, the level of flourish has risen for the coast and it doesn’t seem to be looking to come down at any point. I’ve talked about Tinashe a bit, and I do see her as an artist that can really break out in 2014. With her release of Black Water making noise, and a debut album coming as well, she still loves her fans despite the buzz that’s coming at what seems to be light speed. Releasing an exclusive is what helps the base grow, and she’s well aware of that. She isn’t the only West Coast artist looking to break out as well. Conveniently enough, ScHoolboy Q is gearing up to (finally) release his major label debut, OXYmoron, and he’s known for having hopped on an R&B’s track or two, so this works in a way to help both of them gain some more attraction. DJ Mustard has established his bouncy grooves, and this sexy track is yet another example. The two step and head bop is contagious, so don’t fight it, just go with it. Most importantly, enjoy.
